Driving through Wembley for the most part is quite uneventful.
There are landmarks like Wembley Stadium and Ace Cafe along the North Circular but outside of that it's not exactly the scenic route.
That was the case until Shri Sanatan Hindu Temple in Wembley was first unveiled in 2010. The £16 million temple took 14 years to complete, and one look at its delicate architecture would tell you why.
Its intricately-carved bright sand-coloured walls and domes are unmistakable and the entire construction of the temple based on ancient Hindu scriptures.
Covering 20, 900 square feet, standing 182 ft with 210 hand carved pillars inside, it's nothing short of a masterpiece that serves as a beacon of Wembley's cultural heritage.
